Thanks for blogging this photo, Serendip, and linking to Safrang. I just came across your blog, read some Farsi/English posts, and hope to return to read more in the future. Per chance, have we met/communicated in the past?
hamesha: Love your photos. I'm so impressed by your writings and especially your essay, "The suspended spider". I can't believe you're only 18 years old. I also read the piece you wrote on your 18th birthday and I could feel every pain and every agony you describe. I couldn't stop crying for a while. You're truly a gift to Afghanistan and its people. I'm afraid, that we've had no communication in the past.
