Scorpions "Carterizing" Tony Blair
The mullahs following their proud tradition of win-win hostage-taking ploy are acting just like the proverbial scorpion. And the "America [read: Britain] can't do a damn thing", Khomeini's charming slogan during the US hostage crisis.
Compare this with the subdued British Navy's Admiral West talking about the rules of engament, "The rules are very much de-escalatory, because we don’t want wars starting. The reason we are there is to be a force for good."
Is Tony Belair being "Carterized"?

I think they Brits could get their sailors back quickly if they simply told the Royal Navy to start sinking any Iranian ship on sight, no questions asked.
The kidnapping was piracy, and the Iranians should be treated as such. If the RN still knows how.
With all due deference to Admiral West, sometimes being a force for good necessitates being forceful. I believe the Admiral's American counterpart stated that U.S. service personnel have been ordered or permitted to fight back should they find themselves in a situation similar to the kidnapped RN servicemen.
Islamo-fascists in general and the Mullahcracy in particular only understand force.
I wished more people in the West realized that if only the main props of the regime, i.e. IRGC and Basiji, are knocked out the Iranian people themselves would bring down the regime. And that there will not be enough of AhmadiNezhad and Khamenei and their ilk left to put in body bags.
