Iran: Psychofascist Mullahs Tightening up the Noose

The misogynistic mullahs have unleashed their moral police (criminal goons) on women who are not dressed in full Islamic garb (the black chador). The hefty fine is up to $50 or they're taken to the Islamic Court for detention.

This is just sickening. As the regime finds itself more and more isolated by the world, they take their frustration on the enslaved women of Iran...

I hear most of these 'Regime Women' in black Chadors are mentally unstable & quite brutal. Most are regime hookers anyways whose main source of income is from the sugar daddy mullahs & their thugs. $50 fine, or more $$ is just another source of revenue for the regime, from those who can afford to pay and if you dress like that (e.g. woman in white in the pic), they assume you can - this is in addition to harassment and imposing authority.

In IR land you can do lots of things only if you pretend to be on IR side, sometimes only by uttering one or two pleasant and pro-regime words. You can wear the Chador and with two words you can be temporarily married i.e. sleep around or you can say you are a muslim and be a Bahai in reality.. and much more.. in many ways, IR is a make-believe land.

P: I'm not surprised at them being mentally disturbed. Anyone who supports this regime must be mentally unstable and dysfunctional as a human being. Only a parasite will be able to hold dear this vile darkness clouding the sky in Iran.

This ritualised humiliation of women is a very sad aspect of theocratic rule. However I understand that after about a month, the whole thing dies out until the next year, and headscarves are perched on the back of girls heads again.

I have been reading a report from a right wing UK journalist in Iran, who painted a different picture of life in Iran, than that which we tend to see on the web and in the West.

He wasn't apologising for the regime, nor down playing how harsh it can be, but he found that support for the regime was lukewarm at best amongst whole strands of Iranian society.

It's just a pity that the regime is able to constantly strengthen itself, by portraying itself as under seige by "The Great Satan and Little Satan" (the US and UK). This prevents the possibilty of further reforms and change to a more equitable society.

Let's be fair. this is a great improvement. only a few years ago they used to sentence people to somewhere between 50 to 70 lashes for these crimes against humanity. these people should be grateful! A 14 year old boy died under a sentence of 80 lashes, becuase he was seen eating food in the month of Ramazan, about 4 years ago.

goli, I don't see what you say as any improvement at all. It is like saying: it is better that now, they cut off your little finger than the index one. Any 'improvement' in mullah land is superficial and useless and that is being fair.
