The sick mullahs have advocated 'm'uta' or s'igheh in Iran since the occupation in 1979. This practice is sick and disgusting. Most of these woman are single mothers who are abused by their "temp" husband, but they stay with them not out of lust but out of economic desperation. Some are also young runaway girls "marrying temporarily" much much older nasty men...once again not because of lust but for $$. So this whole kids will be kids excuse is not gonna fly! They kill women who are raped (because a non-virgin woman is worthless in Islam) or rape women so they won't go to heaven and arrest women if a bit of their hair shows yet they allow this prostitution and exploitation. sick!!!and not to mention..very hypocritical!

The trade is also international: thousands of Iranian women and girls have been sold into sexual slavery abroad.The head of Iran's Interpol bureau believes that the sex slave trade is one of the most profitable activities in Iran today...Government officials themselves are involved in buying, selling, and sexually abusing women and girls....The exposure of sex slave networks in Iran has shown that many mullahs and officials are involved in the sexual exploitation and trade of women and girls. and of course the mullahs get a fee for sanctioning this temp marriages. serendip, I too read the temporary marriage crap coming out of Iran. What a twisted perversion! It does however fit with the rest of the twisted perversions brewing in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
