Lieberman-Kyl amendment has passed designating the IRGC as a terrorist organization
The Senate, showing it was not convinced by Ahmadinejad's proclamations, approved the nonbinding measure on a 76-22 vote. It was sponsored by Sens. Jon Kyl, R-Ariz., and Joe Lieberman, D-Conn.

Great post, thanks for the info! This isn't getting much press here in the States, at least in the MSM.
Also, Lieberman is now technically an independent after Connecticut's Democratic Party effectively gave him the boot in 2006 over his views on the war.
