Islamic Republic Lobby infilterating the Amnesty International Human rights Panel

Iranian human right's activists are outraged that regime sympathizer Trita Parsi (pictured) will be included on Amnesty International's Iranian Human Rights panel in Beverly Hills on Friday night.

In a meeting on January 18, 2008, Trita Parsi, the president of National Iranian American Council (NIAC), a group sympathetic to the brutal regime in Iran, was asked:
"Why NIAC never takes any meaningful stand against human rights violations in Iran?"Trita Parsi responded:"NIAC is not a human rights organization. That is not our expertise."Video is HERE.The meeting was organized by Middle East Policy Council entitled Iran's Strategic Concerns and U.S. Interests which was held on Capitol Hill and featured Gary Sick, Trita Parsi, Ray Takeyh, and Barbara Slavin.Iranian activists and dissidents are very disturbed that Amnesty International (AI) is sponsoring an event in Los Angeles under the title, "Human Rights in Iran : How to Move Forward" on February 22, 2008 at Beverly Hills Hotel in which Mr. Trita Parsi, president of National Iranian American Council (NIAC) is one of the panelists. They are asking for supporters to please object to Amnesty International by taking the following actions:1.
