After alluding to her husband's White House sex scandal and impeachment, Clinton said: "The hits I've taken in life are nothing compared to what goes on every single day in the lives of people across our country." She went on to talk about the suffering of horribly wounded veterans of the Iraq war. When she finished, the audience responded with a standing ovation.And Senator Obama looked to this reporter and to other observers like someone who realized that he had been had.
