Islamic Republic's Counter-offesive Since The Surge

Since the surge:

1. Sadr's militia public protest in Sadr city against US forces

2. Attempted assassination of the Sadr city mayor who was leaning to the US side

3. Sudden stories of Mahdi militia splitting from Sadr and being trained in Iran so Sadr's hardcore could go after the US with plausible deniability and impunity

4. Fadilla party is attacked in Basra by Mahdi "rogues"

5. Iran taking 15 British troops hostage in what sounds like a blatant TRAP set by Iran

On Saturday the UNSC votes after the thug-in-cheif, Ahmadinejad gives his death-to america speech.

The Islamic Republic has crossed the line this time. They have openly engaged in an act of war against two sovereign nations. They really are pushing their luck this time. I wonder how the appeasers and apologists are going to rationalize and justify this blatant and provoctive act of aggression.
