Sadly, as a nation, we have a moral responsiblity to fix the problems the Iraq invasion has caused. The focus now needs to be on how to fix the problems created in the best way for the Iraqi people and the best way to bring Americans out of danger with dignity and respect. To clean up a mess is always more work than making the mess.
Excuse me, but we did not 'create' the Iraq mess. We have been there for over 12 years, since Saddam invaded Kuwait. Or did you forget that little bit of history?
The Iraqi people were suffering under Saddam, and al Qaida attacked US. We do not have proof that they did this together, but so what?
Saddam was continue to make his chemical and bio weapons. He could very easily give them to al Qaida. What would you have done or said had this happened and they attacked us with them?
BTW, are you one of the ones who wants us to help in Darfur??? I am. I can speak on moral ground, because I support the stopping of genocide wherever it is found. People who do not want us to help Iraq cannot. Period.
