The Benevolent Islamic Republic!
The benevolent Islamic Republic, the beacon of hope and humanity to all Muslims across the globe, and the initiator of "dialogue among civilizations" has started a systematic program of arresting and beating up defenseless homeless young males in the streets in the name of "clean-up of hoodlums and thugs". The pictures tell a different story. They are homeless and destitute because of systematically-induced poverty and unemployment or drug addicts who have no where to go. According to regime's own statistic, one out of 7 in Iran lives below poverty line...I guess being poor is not enough punishment for these poor souls, they need the hands of god's agents on earth to beat the hell out of them too.
Potkin wonders why the Western media has no sense of giving the same exposure to these pictures that it gave to pictures from Guantanamo and Abu-Ghraib.
