I find this picture quite disturbing instead of funny. I don't know why.

Yes, grotesque and jarring, Serendip. Do you really want to know why from an aestetic point of view? a) colors: are unfamiliar and harsh. b) height: it is an unfamiliar dimension for a sofreh aghd, because ordinarily, people are supposed to "sit" on one, not stand up and be dwarfed by the mirror. c) feeling: it looks cold and Gothic, like an Adams Family movie scene. d) Except for the fruits, which have been arranged to resemble some type of multi-legged animal (jarring), everything else is fake--especially the abnormally-colored blue fake flowers. In one word, YUCK! I hope they live a happy life together, though, and that the feeling of this sofreh aghd doesn't follow them into their marriage! Be good Serendip.

It is a photo about things, and about him, not about her. He is far more visible than she, the things are far more visible than both of them.
