Fantastic news for Iranian/Islamist on various Jihadist scholarships in Western Universities (boursiayeh Akhund Tala and Akhundette) and the Khomeini's groupies. This report should make those who believe in Khomeini's pioneering economic theory of "Economics is For Donkeys" proud. Congrats to all of you Aghazadeha in Canada, other opportunistic pocketbook supporters and those who continue their parasitic/despicable existence by feeding off the Islamic Republic's spoils-trough. (Akhoor?)
The Report uses the Networked Readiness Index (NRI) to measure the degree of preparation of a nation or community to participate in and benefit from ICT developments. The NRI is composed of three component indexes which assess:- environment for ICT offered by a country or community- readiness of the community's key stakeholders (individuals, business and governments)- usage of ICT among these stakeholders. The pace of technological innovation throughout the global community is relentlessly pushing forward. RayKurzweil, the American futurist, has observed that “In the nineteenth century, we saw more technological change than in the nine centuries preceding it.Then in the first twenty years of the twentieth century, we saw more advancement than in all of the nineteenth century. Now,paradigm shifts occur in only a few years time. . . . So we won’t experience 100 years of progress in the 21st century—it will be more like 20,000 years of progress.
Meanwhile, the Islamic Republic has not even begun to diversify its economy and to use its incredibly vast human capital to contribute to humanity and the prosperity of its own citizens. Instead the IRI is on a fools errand, trying to restore the glorious Islamic Caliphate and to defeat the " Imperialist Arrogant Powers", all the time using these "noble causes" as demagogic tools to continue its iron grip on power. With or without "arrogant powers", the IR cannot compete with the force of modernization and it will eventually be remembered as a shameful chapter in human history.
