Khamenei:" Khomeinism is on the Rise"!

Alalam, mouthpiece of the Islamic Republic is reporting Khamanei's recent propaganda tailor-made for the Arab Audience. (red is mine)

Alalam.ir: TEHRAN, May 27--Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has said that the movement started by late Imam Khomeini is spreading fast across the Islamic countries. The leader cited "return to the Islamic identity and values, renunciation of bullying powers, and hatred of the big idol namely America and Zionism" among the late Imam's teachings which have gripped Muslim nations.Ayatollah Khamenei described the enthusiasm shown by Muslim youth (Arab youth and definitely not Iranian youth) in late Imam Khomeini's path and teachings as "astounding".

The leader said Imam Khomeini's ideals and teachings among Muslim nations are getting revitalized, adding this is a sign that the movement heralded by the late Imam emanated from God. The leader stated that the founder of the Islamic Revolution has imparted a "divine and spiritual" effect to the human community. This is indicative of the late Imam's power to impress and capture the hearts, the leader added.Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in an address to officials in charge of marking the demise anniversary of the late Imam."Unlike natural events, the extent, depth and duration of the effects left by divine incidents increase day by day and that is the case with the story of the beloved Imam," the leader said.

Ayatollah Khamenei touched on "the ceaseless propaganda campaign of the enemies of Islam against the Imam" which the leader said is not comparable to "the volume of the propagation which is being made to promote and reinforce the Imam's slogans"."Nevertheless, the outcome of this political-propaganda challenge is the emergence of a young generation in many countries including Lebanon and Palestine which does not even remember the time spanning the life and demise of the Imam. "However, thanks to the appeal of that great man's teachings, this generation has hoisted the flag of Islam vis-à-vis the enemies of God and is proud of that."

Ayatollah Khamenei said the mystery behind Imam Khomeini's divine charisma was that all his deeds were only for God."The dignified late Imam, all through his blessed life, only sought the satisfaction of the Creator and this is his big lesson for the present and future (generations) of this nation, the officials as well as all the elite and activists in political, social, cultural and economic arenas.

"The leader also took an issue with "certain people who are trying to interpret the principles of Islam and the ideals of the (Islamic) Revolution such as religious democracy and human rights in Islam in such a way as complying with the failed and futile liberalism of the West"."But this is a deviation from Imam's line and stands squarely in clash with Imam Khomeini's teachings and viewpoints. Thus, care has to be taken against this deviation and warnings be served."

Ayatollah Khamenei says Imam Khomeini Muslim youth are enthusiastically embracing Imam Khomeini's teachings.

Indian Muslim Group Offers Bounty For Killing Bangladeshi Author

"Inside Islam, a crime of a "vicious tongue" could get you beheaded. This is just another fruit which it produces in the harvest of the 'religion of peace' because they do not respect the freedom of speech, especially if it shines a scrutiny of light upon them and the "religion" they practice..."

A little-known conservative Indian Muslim group has offered a reward of 500,000 rupees (11,319 US dollars) for killing the controversial Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen, news reports said Saturday. Taqi Raza Khan, president of the All India Ibtehad Council, said he had ordered the qatal (elimination) of the novelist, who lives in exile in India, in a statement issued in Lucknow, capital of northern Uttar Pradesh state on Friday, the Times of India newspaper reported.

Nasreen, 45, fled from Bangladesh in 1994 after hardline Muslim clergymen said her writings were blasphemous and demanded her execution. The writer, who is also a trained doctor, lived for over a decade in Europe and the United States. She now resides in the eastern Indian city of Kolkata and is seeking permanent Indian citizenship. "Taslima has put Muslims to shame in her writing. She should be killed and beheaded and anyone who does this will get a reward from the council," Khan said in the statement. The All India Ibtehad Council is based in Bareilly, about 240 kilometres north-west of Lucknow. It is said to be a splinter group of the powerful All India Muslim Personal Law Board and was set up four years.

Iran: Commemorating the Massacre of Political Prisoners of the Bloody Summer of 1987-88

Akhbar-rooz(Persian): Today, is the last Friday of the Persian Calander. On this day, groups of survivors, relatives and friends of the victims of the massacare of political prisoners of 1987-88 gathered in Khavaran (near a Bahai cemetry) to honor their memories and celebrate the coming Perisan New Year (NoRooz). Dr. Zarafshan, novelist, translator, and attorney, only one day after being released from 5 years of imprisoment on trumped up charges also attended this event.

Note that after the massacre of Iranian political prisoners in 1988-87 (a Fatwa issued by Khomeini), the bodies of the victims were dumped in mass graves next to a Bahaii cemetery in Khavaron. The public became alerted of the mass graves only when they noticed large gathering of over enthusiastic stray dogs, scavenging for bones. The exact numbers are unknown. If anyone knows of the exact numbers please let me know. The significance of this lie in the fact that this massive extermination of dissidents were done within a period of one month. (see my previous post)

You can find some of the victims names (the list is still being compiled since the whereabouts of many others are still unknown and their death has not been confirmed). If you did not already know (or somehow forgot), you may learn that firing on bound and blindfolded captives, especially teenagers and pregnant women, is an Islamic pastime and a virtue (if not a turn-on!), in short an integral part of the newfound pride in Iranian
revolutionary identity. Now, isn't that a soothing thought?! ...

You can also visit Omid Cyber Memorial for the names of more victims of the Holy crimes of the Islamic Republic of Terrorists.
