Analysis says Iran's oil revenue is going to be Zero by 2015


While the scariest man in the world, Mahmood Ahmadinejad, chooses to peddle his inane drivel to Pope, a new study by Roger Stern, an economic geographer at Johns Hopkins University has published in this week's edition of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences that the Islamic Republic could soon run out of oil to export. "Iran earns about $50 billion a year in oil exports. The decline is estimated at 10 to 12 percent annually. In less than five years, exports could be halved, and they could disappear by 2015, Stern predicted."

Stern faults the inadequate investment (hostility to foreign investment to develop new oil resources) and mismanagement (poor state planning) and sheer negligence by the mullahs as the main causes of declining oil exports. The decline is estimated at 10 to 12 percent annually. Stern also informs us that the poor managment and inadequate care and maintenance of the refinaries contribute significantly to the loss of revenue and waste of precious oil, "If we look at that shortfall, and failure to rectify leaks in their refineries, that adds up to a loss of about $10 billion to $11 billion a year." "That is a picture of an industry in collapse."
Iranian oil production, which has been the main industry in Iran since the 1920s accounts for more than 65% of the nation's overall revenue. Iran earns about $50 billion a year in oil exports. He also points out that Iran's Oil Peaked in the 1970s and has been on a decline since the early 1980s. (see definition of Peak Oil).

The original forecast by EIA (Energy Information Adminstration) was that Iran will run out of oil by the year 2025. However, I think the mullahs are looting the oil revenues at a higher rate and not re-investing the revenues to maintain their only source of profit. That's what happens when a bunch of uneducated mob are at the helm of fourth larges oil producing nation.

This is quite frightening for a nation who's main source of revenue is oil. Iran has been investing in everywhere else in the world except Iran to the determinant of the Iranians future.

I have no doubt the murderous regime is fully aware of this fact and that's why they have chosen to expand their domination in the region unwisely to compensate for their incompetence.

Blinded by Islamic fanaticism, inaptitude and hubris, they have squandered and exhausted the oil resources to line their own bulging pockets and have invested the oil revenue in Dubai, Iraq, Lebanon, Somalia, etc. Instead of re-investing the money to replace and upgrade the antiquated oil industry infrastructures build by the Brits in 1920s, the regime has chosen to give $12000 cash per person to shameless Southern Lebanese welfare queens and kings and building them schools and hospitals and offering them free health care. And god knows how much more to Hamas et al while 40% of Iranians live below poverty level and the GDP of around $2800 and per capita income of only $8600 (Peru and Thailand have the same per capita income althought they are not oil producing countries)

I think all democratic activists inside and outside of Iran should demand the full disclosure of all pertinent information regarding this energy crisis from the Islamic Republic. Sober and objective assessment of this looming threat that faces all Iranians has nothing to do with politics and should be vigorously debated and it's catastrophic consequences fully identified and remedied before it's too late. This priority is above partisan politics. Iranians should hold the Islamic parliament responsible, according to the obligations under its own constitution, to discuss and inform the people of Iran on the consequences of their inept management of nation's oil. They should come clean and inform the people of how they have not used the oil profit to secure it's sustainability and as a result endangering the national security of the nation.

Stern ends his analysis suggesting that the US should be patient and scrap military intervention because Iran will be exceedingly weak economically and politically," If the United States can "hold its breath" for a few years, it may find Iran a much more conciliatory country, he said. And that, Stern said, is good reason to delay any instinct to take on Iran militarily.
"What they are doing to themselves is much worse than anything we could do," he said.


The absolute priority is to end the reign of ignorance of these medieval NON-IRANIAN TAZIS. The clock is ticking and Iranian's culture, heritage, history, people, and national wealth are being wiped off the map by the Islamic ummah and their agents.

HAPPY YALDA (WINTER SOLSTICE FESTIVAL)




Happy First day of winter or happy Yalda. Yaldā also known as Shab-e-Yalda is celebrated on the eve of the first day of the winter (21 or 22 December) in the Iranian calendar, which falls on the Winter Solstice (the longest night of the year or the shortest day of the year). It celebrates the birth of Sun god Mithra.The festival was considered extremely important in pre-Islamic Iran and continues to be celebrated to this day, a period of more than 6000 years. Some historians believe that the festival spread to Europe through contacts between the Roman and Persian empires and was eventually replaced by Christmas; a theory that accounts for the celebration of Christmas on 25 December, rather than the later date of January 6 that is believed to be the correct date of birth of Christ by eastern orthodox church.

Yalda, a Syriac word (ܝܠܕܐ) imported into the Persian language by the Syriac Christians means birth (tavalod and meelaad are from the same origin) and generally refers to Christmas in the Syriac language.
The Persian traditions merged in ancient Rome, in a festival to the ancient god of seedtime, Saturn. The Romans exchanged gifts, partied and decorated their homes with greenery. Following the Persian tradition, the usual order of the year was suspended. Grudges and quarrels forgotten, wars would be interrupted or postponed. Businesses, courts and schools were closed. Rich and poor became equal, masters served slaves, and children headed the family. Cross-dressing and masquerades, merriment of all kinds prevailed. A mock king, the Lord of Misrule, was crowned. From this day forward, light triumphs as the days grow longer and give more light. This celebration comes in the Persian month of Day, which was also the name of the pre-zoroastrain creator god (light or Day). On this night bonfires are lit outside, while inside famil and friends gather ina night-long vigil around the korsi (Russian origin), a low square table covered with a thick cloth overhanging on all sides. A brazier with hot coals is placed under the table. All night the family and friends sit on large cushions around the korsi . On this night the oldest memeber of the family says prayers, thank God for the previous year's crops, and prays for the prosperity of next years's harvest. Then with a sharp knife cuts the melon, and the watermelon and gives everyone a share. The cutting symbolizes the removal of sickness and pain from the family. Snacks are passed around throught the night; pomegranates with angelica powder and combination of nuts and dried fruits. This mixture of nuts literally means night-gazing; eating nuts is said to lead to prosperty in days to come. More substantial fare for the night's feast include eggplant stew with plain saffron-flavored rice; and rice with chicken; thick yogurt; and carrot brownies. The food themselves symbolize the balance of seasons. On into the night of festivities , the family keeps the fires burning and the lights glowing to help the sun in its battle against darkness.

They recite poetry and play music, tell stories, talk and eat and eat an talk until the sun, triumphnatly, reapperas in the morning.

May light triumph darkness every day and in every heart.

Discontent Brews in Iran


ABC reporter Jim Sciutto reports from Iran. He actually seems to be talking some sense, and seems to be more objective and honest and not completely seduced by slew of charming of Taqiyeh as are some of his co-journalists. Full article is here. Excerpts below:


...The trouble is, harassment remains a very real risk to Iranians themselves.

Still, many continue to speak out. This weekend, we met one of the people who last week organized a protest where university students burned President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's photograph during a speech he gave. They shouted "Death to the Dictator." He called them "Americanized." It was, by far, the most public grilling of his presidency.


The organizer, 23-year-old Babak, hobbled into our interview on a broken foot, an injury he sustained when paramilitaries beat him up after another anti-government protest.

When I asked him why he wasn't scared to criticize the government so openly, he said, "The risks are inevitable, but we're determined to continue. Patience has its limits and our patience with the government has run out."

Afterwards, Babak asked me if I would promise to spread the word if he was ever arrested. I said I would.

Khomeini: "Islam is in Danger"


I woke up this morning to the awful news of 14 Iranian Christian converts having been arrested in three different cities in Iran on Sunday right before Christmas. I can't imagine how they must be feeling and how they are going to spend their Christmas in jail. The reason for their arrest is stated as "to prevent their planned religious and prayers ceremonies for Christmas". The Islamic authorities also confiscated their bibles, religious books and materials, and their prayer's CDs.

Their names are as follows:

Why does Islam feel so threatned and vulnerble that it has to resort to such extreme measures of aggression and brutality to protect itself? What is the goal of such Islamic fury? From the cartoons of the Danish publication to hostage-taking at the U.S. embassy in Tehran to the episode of Salman Rushdie death fatwa and from the assassination of the opponents of Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI) in Europe to Sept 11th WTC atrocity and the hostage-takings and beheadings of innocent people in Iraq, the world has witnessed these disproportionately violent acts from the religion of peace.

We hear all the time from variety of sources that all these are reactions to the injustice towards Islam or in simpler terms are the resistance to the discriminations and torments that Muslims have suffered and still suffer. What discrimination? The muslims are allowed to have their mosques and practice their religion in the West while Christians are persecuted in muslim countries and are not allowed to practice their religion or build any churches in any muslim country. We haven't had any relationship with the Islamic Republic for over 27 years now. So why the rage and the relentless hate toward the US, religious minorities, modernity, prosperty, and the West in general?

In my opinion the reason for all these brutal actions and hatemongering in the name of Islam was repeatedly pronounced by none other than Ayatollah Khomeini himself, "Islam is in danger" and they are fearful of this situation and see it necessary to repeatedly prove the power of Islam through acts of violence as did holy men of Aztec toward the end of their civilization. The human sacrifices of the innocent people by the holy men of Aztec at the end of that civilization in the American continent was to show the longevity of the *power* of their faith and to create fear and horror among those who might have allowed themselves the thought of the end of that civilization.

Their brand of power (and the Islamists) can only manifest in sheer brutality for it to cultivate the seed of revenge and violence in perpetuity. In other words Islamists fear danger from the intellectuals (Khomeini issued the death fatwa of over 30,000 of them in jails in 1986-87?), from ordinary people leaving one religion and accepting another spiritual direction and not necessarily abandoning religion.

Incidentally in the Islamist Iran (the heart of Islam) of the last two decades more people have left Islam than in the secular Turkey. Why would they risk their very lives to convert knowing the apostasy laws of the Islamists murderes? Why does Islam feel so insecure and vulnerable?

Yes, Islam is in danger of becoming irrelevant (Islam and globalization) by its own self-defeating behavior or at the hands of other religious extremists of Christian persuasion. It's only a matter of time when a counterbalance force emerges (think of the return of Christians Crusaders Wars) to get rid of the establishment of Islamic ummah:

It is clear that, one way or another; the demonic Islamic revolutionary terrorism will be driven from the face of earth, just as it was done in the days of Pope Urban II.

Islamic Imperialism of Iran (see Ahmadinejad call for revival of Islamic civilization and the return of Islamic ummah yesterday in Malaysia) has nothing to do with the US policies in the Middle East or the continuation of chaos and carnage in Iraq which the mullahs benefit from the most.

The Islamic Republic's hegemonic program started 28 years ago. As I mentioned before, the violence and terrorism exported by the IR has to do with the fact that Khomeini and perhaps many Islamic leaders saw that Islam was doomed and was bound to become irrelevant in an increasingly modern and global world. So, like a good CEO in charge of a transnational Islamic Corporation, he decided to reduce the competitive advantages of the modern and secular society by brainwashing and demonizing everything Western and to promote martyrdom, terrorim, and dying for allah to rescue this religion from becoming immaterial to the lives of their constituents.

In essence, this religion is fighting for its very survival because they know they have nothing to offer to the post-modern man. I end this rant with a quote from Robert M. Pirsig:

"You are never dedicated to something you have complete confidence in. No one is fanatically shouting that the sun is going to rise tomorrow. They know is going to rise tomorrow. When people are fanatically dedicated to political or religious faiths or any other kinds of dogmas or goals, it's always because these dogmas or goals are in doubt."

Iranian student activists who staged an angry protest against President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad last week have gone into hiding in fear for their lives after his supporters threatened them with revenge.
One student fled after being photographed holding a banner reading, "Fascist president, the polytechnic is not for you", during Mr Ahmadinejad's visit to Tehran's Amir Kabir university. At least three others have gone underground after being seen burning his picture. Vigilantes from the militant Ansar-e Hezbollah (the biggest welfare kings and queens) group have been searching for them.

Reformers and hardliners: "Symbiotic Adaptation and Mutualism"



The onslaught of organized weapons of mass deception unleashed during make-believe election time in Iran by all manners of reformists/appeasers from various corners of academia, TV,radio, and blogspheres inside and outside of Iran is too much even for the informed audiences to sieve and come out unscathed.

Fatefully, this passage by Martin Luther King eerily parallels the manufactured dilemma(via fraudlent, shamelss and corrupt reformists) the cataleptic Iranian people face during these sham elections:

We know through painful experience that freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed. Frankly, I have yet to engage in a direct-action campaign that was "well timed" in the view of those who have not suffered unduly from the disease of segregation. For years now I have heard the word "Wait!" It rings in the ear of every Negro with piercing familiarity. This "Wait" has almost always meant "Never." We must come to see, with one of our distinguished jurists, that "justice too long delayed is justice denied."

No, action for justice is never well-timed in the eyes of the oppressor. Neither is it well-timed in the eyes of those who would not knowingly oppress anyone, but who are all the same complicit in oppression. It is true that we often do not see ourselves clearly enough to realize the prejudice in our hearts and the unjust actions in our lives.


The reformist's/reformallah's argument is similar to those whom Martin Luther refers to as "those who have not suffered...and keep saying the word "Wait"". The reformists are complicit (partners in crime) in oppression of Iranian populace all the same; knowningly or unknowingly, they contribute feverishly to the survival of the status quo (plundring and raping the Iranian nation's wealth in the name of anti-war movement). It is never a good time in the eyes of those who have amassed unheard fortunes at the expense of others to give up their wealth or redistribute it more justly or equitably. Why should they? It's the nature of the beast.

Dr. King reminds us that "Action for Justice is never well-timed in the eyes of the oppressor". We are told by the reformist to "Wait". Because "Wait" at least offers some hope. But the Islamic Republic Constitution (Sharia Jurisprudence) clearly tells us, "Never." So, what are we hoping for, I ask? How many times are the Iranians going to be used as tools to enrich the lives of these murderous ayatollas?

Was it not during Rafsanjani's and Khatami's reign that the Iranian Ayatollahs became the "Millionare mullahs and ranked by Forbes magazine as the top 500 richest people in the world? Where do clergies get this kind of money? Do they have some Shiite technology patent that the world is not privy to yet?

Iran has become one of the most dismally unequal societies in the ME. A small caste of very rich fat priests and their cronies are reducing most of the Iranian people to abject poverty in a country that is immensely wealthy. To cover up for all this greed and corruption, religious fundamentalism is a very effective tool of ideological domination. The more Iran sinks into inequality and social injustice, the more fiery the pseudo revolutionary rhetoric of its theocratic ruling elite, and the more dogmatic and intolerant their version of Islam. Religious fundamentalism is a wonderful tool for diverting attention from all real issues. But it has a limit, and that limit is set by the emergence of people's conscience and desire to get rid of all those blood-sucking parasites passing for "men of spirit".

What do the Iranian Ayatollahs and this class of parasitic reformist really stand for? At this moment for nothing more than staying in power, prolonging their very symbiotic viral co-existence with their host(Supreme Leader of ignorance), and continuing to line their bulging pockets with the money of the Iranian people. Social inequality and poverty rates in Iran are appalling. And if you visit the wealthy neighborhoods of Northern Teheran, you will see conspicuous signs of obscene wealth in the hands of the nouveaux rich(those who tell us to wait) that have emerged after the demise of the late Shah. And if you move to the huge slums in Southern Teheran, you will see abject poverty and destitution. Most Iranians have benefited very little from the new theocratic dictatorship and their reformist co-sponsors.


What will be the judgment of future generations on this blood-sucking reformists who are even more debased and treasonus than their hardliner counterparts? How would these reformist be remembered by their children and their grand children when the oil runs out in twenty plus some years and there is nothing else to loot?

Mid-December Ruminations




I put on a Mozart recording, the G minor symphony, Mozart's next to last symphony; and sat staring out of the window. It had begun to rain again. I went to the window and stared down at the rivulets of water that ran down the driveway adjacent to my apartment, at the snowdrops that clustered around the roof of the tool shed just beyond the window. The seed was in hibernation, the days -- winter's approaching expression -- were growing shorter; though I still felt it was a selfishness, an unwarranted optimism. It is timely, because in these foreboding times, clarity of vision is of supreme importance, not least so as to overcome any feeling of despair, but instead, to refocus on how each and everyone of us can do his or her best to forge a better world for our children.
Programs, like the series at the Carnegie Council called '
The Resurgence of Religion in Politics', help us recapture the all important strategic overview, especially, when we are granted a rare understanding of the grand motivator, which is driving key strategic decisions of foe and friend alike:
The fact, that the race for souls in the most populous parts of the world is won by Christianity.


The distinguished Professor of History and Religious Studies at Pennsylvania State University, Philip Jenkins doesn't tell us what spurs Thug-In-Chief Ahmadinejad,
but his statistics do:

In fact, if you want to project the countries in the world that will have the largest numbers of Christians by 2050, here's one projection. At the head of the list would still be the United States, followed, in no particular order, by Brazil, Mexico, Nigeria, the Congo, Ethiopia, the Philippines, and China. Let me give you a list of the countries that were not included in that list: Britain, France, Spain, Italy. Is anyone here old enough to remember something called "Western Christianity?" [...]


Well, if this was just a change of geography, a change of ethnicity, then it would be interesting. But I'm suggesting that it is rather more than that, because the kinds of Christianity that are growing in the Global South—a term by which I mean Africa, Asia, Latin America—are different from what we are used to in the Global North. They are much more enthusiastic; they are much more supernatural-oriented; they have much more of a belief in trans-stream vision, prophecy. [...]


The sooner we understand that our Thug-In-Chief is performing to all Muslims across the globe, we
realize his ambition to counter Professor Jenkins' projections.
Anti-Western rage fueled the 1979 Iranian revolution, and Mr. Ahmadinejad has tried to rekindle its energy by spreading Iran’s influence beyond its borders. Battling Washington, chiding Arab leaders and claiming to promote the Palestinian cause have made him extremely popular on the streets from Cairo to Morocco. [...]
Others see an even more ambitious post-Iraq agenda reflected in Mr. Ahmadinejad’s high profile on the issues of Jews, the Holocaust and Israel.


“It is for public consumption in Arab countries,” said Mustafa El-Labbad, editor of Sharqnameh, a magazine specializing in Iranian affairs and published in Cairo. “It is specifically directed toward deepening the gap between the people and their regimes and toward embarrassing the rulers so that the regional power vacuum, especially after Iraq, can be filled by Iran.”


Or, you could call it Phase-1 in his master plan. Controlling Middle Eastern Oil supplies by toppling one regime after the other, is the starting point in his quest for the creation of a global, Shi'a dominated, caliphate (don't miss Andy McCarthy's
succinct summary of Arthur Herman's action plan against the Mullahcracy).

Asia, and China in particular, depend on Arab Oil; a dependency, which our Thug-In-Chief certainly intends to put to good use (all it take is a Chinese UN-veto to ensure the continuing slaughter of Christians by Muslim Jihadists on the African continent). For his vision to succeed, he must reverse the rise of Christianity amongst his favorite demographic, the poor in the South; those, who can be most effectively inculcated with Islam's murderous teachings, namely Jihadist doctrines. Professor Jenkins continues:


Let me stress one word. When we look at the emerging Christianity which will be such a force in the 21st century, there is one word I stress: poverty. The average Christian in the world today is a very poor person, inconceivably poor by American or European standards.
If you look at the world's poorest today, then I suggest a rather surprising observation. The largest single religion among the poorest is not Islam, it is not Hinduism. It is Christianity. The problem of extreme poverty in the world is, above all, a Christian issue. This radically affects the way in which people read the Bible, a book which was written by and for a very poor community.


Jenkins' research explains also otherwise often hard to understand motivators for us 'civilized' Christians, that are guiding our friends at the Vatican, most of all the Holy Father, in matters of abortion, birth control and homosexuality: 'Southern Christians', and in particular those in sub-Saharan Africa reject, what Spengler terms, the '
issue of syncretism'.
The Christian problem of having one's cake and eating it, too. Christians too often wish to keep one foot in their Gentile past and another in the Kingdom of God. This dichotomy, I have argued on previous occasions, ultimately doomed European Christianity.
The Vatican knows, that it must resist liberal re-interpretation of biblical doctrine to avoid losing appeal to millions of Southern Christians and potential converts -
over 6 million Muslims convert to Christianity every year.

Despite the fact that Muslims by virtue of being poor and uneducated are much more reproductive than others, Islam as a religion is not growing but dying fast.
More and more Muslims are discovering that the violence evinced by some of their coreligionists is not an aberration but is inspired by the teachings of the Quran and the examples set by its author. Muslims are becoming disillusioned with Islam.


No small surprise, especially when you read the whole
transcript of Professor Jenkins's lecture; you will understand why both the Old and the New Testament have such a strong appeal in poverty stricken, predominantly agrarian communities in Africa and Asia; and why our Thug-In-Chief is in such desperate need to whip up hype to distract from his domestic morass (let me just mention the fast spreading news of the already widely known hypocrisy on Iranian streets, which basically reduces Islamic clerics to nothing more than dirty little pimps), why he is afraid that he is loosing the battle for souls.

One of the most important changes around much of the world in the last decade or so has been the spread of sub-replacement fertility. [...] In the last twenty years, the birth rate in Iran, for example, has fallen from six children per woman to two. So the United States now has a higher fertility rate than Iran.Most Muslim countries in the Near East and North Africa are now rapidly approaching European birth rates—Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco. All these countries are now heading basically for Spanish and Italian rates—not just without government encouragement, but despite government encouragement in many cases to do the opposite. The places that still have the very high rates in the Muslim world are places like—well, you can guess—Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, the Gaza Strip.


So that [the spread of sub-replacement fertility] is spreading as a global factor right now.
No wonder, why Thug-In-Chief Ahmadinejad and his fellow Islamofascists are so hell-bent on keeping at least Iraqis, Afghans, Somalis and Palestinians under their draconian yoke - otherwise, who would be left to strap their suicide belt on, other than some of our disgruntled academics...

The Talented Mr. Kerry


Today, in the new issue of Policy Review, the review/essay by Matthias Küntzel looks at Ahmadinejad in the context of the Iranian regime:

In the 1930s, some believed it would be possible to solve the particular problem of the Sudeten-Germans in negotiations with Hitler without considering the place of the Sudeten question in the overall strategy of the Nazis. In the 1980s, some believed it was possible to solve the particular problem represented by the seizure of the embassy in negotiations with Khomeini without considering the significance of the embassy seizure in the strategic conception of Islamism more generally. Today, with the separation of the nuclear question from the ideological dimension of the conflict, this mistake is being repeated. Although the letter made headlines around the world, Washington hesitated to confront the Iranian challenge on its own terrain: that of ideology. Policymakers focused on business as usual and thus missed the opportunity to present the real alternative facing both Muslim and non-Muslim societies: Does the world want to be oriented by life or by death? Does the world prefer individual and social self-determination or to be ruled by a clique of mullahs and their cult of death?

Meanwhile, Kerry, true to form, is willing to go to Iran and talk to our enemy while irrefutable evidence exist that Iran is arming the militias who are killing our soldiers and training death squads to kill sunnis in Iraq. Is he still taking money from Islamic Republic lobbyists in the US? Kerry repeatedly called Iran a bigger threat than Iraq during his 2004 campaign yet took hundreds of thousands of dollars from pro-regime groups and individuals who have close ties to the mullahs. Kenneth Timmerman writes:

The so-called "Islamic" republic of Iran is seeking from Mr. Kerry a series of concessions that would allow them to become a nuclear weapons power and circumvent the restrictions of the USA Patriot act to infiltrate intelligence agents and potential terrorists into the United States.

The Kerry campaign credits Miss Akbarpour and her new husband, Faraj Aalaie, with each raising $50,000 to $100,000 for the presidential campaign. Mr. Aalaie is president of Centillium Communications, a Nasdaq-listed software firm. These contributions continue despite even though Miss Akbarpour was not a permanent U.S. resident when she made her initial contribution to Mr. Kerry on June 17, 2002, as this reporter first revealed in March. (To be legal, campaign cash must come from U.S. citizens or permanent residents). Miss Akbarpour, her husband and members of the Iranian American Political Action Committee (IAPAC) hosted a fund-raiser featuring Rep. Anna Eshoo, California Democrat, last Sunday in California. Ms. Eshoo is a member of the House Permanent Select committee on Intelligence.
IAPAC's agenda includes opening trade with Iran and ending the fingerprinting of Iranians coming to the United States, two measures with pro-democracy advocates say will bolster the rule of radical clerics in Tehran and allow them to more easily send intelligence operatives to this country.

The event was an embarrassment to most Iranians, but it was not organized for them. The conference was sponsored by the Iranian foreign ministry, and was openly aimed at undermining Israel and the legitimacy of the Jewish state. In essence, the conference was an Iranian information operation, and its participants mere tools of the theocracy. The mendacityty and hypocrisy of this twisted regime is limitless and appalling and noone seems to have the backbone to stand up to these psychopaths. This Holocaust denial is definitely criminal and sponsors of this charade should all be charged and brought to justice.

Protest against Russia's Support of IRI and History Lesson on Russian Occupation of Iran










Potkin, a UK based blogger, reports today that the Iranian ex-pats staged a picket outside the Russian embassy in London today; to protest at Russia's continuous support for the Islamic Republic and the inhumane treatment of Iranian refugees in Russia. He also provides us with a history Russian Occupation of Iran. Here are a few lines:

Iran has suffered continuously from the unwanted interference by her northern neighbour in the last two centuries. Many of Iran's provinces were annexed by the Tsarist Russia, in line with their expansionist ambitions of reaching warm waters of the Persian Gulf. The Russians opposed Iran's constitutional revolution by siding with the despot Qajar king, bombing the new parliament and killing thousands of Iranian freedom fighters.After Iran's occupation in the second world war by the allies, the Russians and their puppet installed government in Azarbijan refused toleave the Iranian territory. Throughout the second half of the 20th century too, the Soviet backed Communist Tudeh Party, kept destabilising the country and served faithfully its pay masters in the Soviet Politburo.

Since the establishment of the Islamic Republic in Iran, the Russians have been close allies with the clerics in Iran, both during the Soviet years and the neo-KGB era.Today coincided with the anniversary of the liberation of Iranian Azerbijan from Russian occupation after the second world war. Iranian ex-pats chose today as an appropriate occasion to stage a protest picket outside the Russian embassy in London to condemn Russia's continuous support for the clerics in Iran and the mistreatment of Iranian refugees.Interestingly, the Russian embassy refused to accept a letter and a petition by the organisers fearing that the papers may be contaminated!

However, even if Bush's successors do not turn out to be as spineless as Ahmadinejad hopes they will be, it is only prudent for the GC nations to take into account the possibility of an American abdication.


The truth is that, despite President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's hubristic sloganeering, the Islamic Republic is a ramshackle and unstable regime with its internal contradictions that cast a shadow on its future. In other words the Islamic Republic lacks the economic power, the political influence, the military might and the accumulated experience needed to act as the regional "superpower." What it has is a denial power, a negative power that could be used to sabotage the work of others. However, it lacks the positive power without which no new equilibrium is constructed. Far from emerging as the core of a new stability in the Middle East, the Islamic Republic may develop into the vortex of a new and much bigger crisis in the region.

Because of its strategic location and the fact that it contains almost two-thirds of the world's oil and gas resources, the greater Middle East region is of vital importance to the entire world. This is why almost everyone has a direct interest in this region's stability. Those who wish to see the Americans leave and those who think the Iranians lack the wherewithal to generate stability must come up with alternatives. The American abdication, if it happens, and the Iranian weakness, when it is exposed, could create a vacuum that would suck the region into a generation of violent instability and war. Like nature, politics abhors the void.

Today, large numbers of Iranian intelligence agents have infiltrated Iraq, where they seem to be providing money, weapons and other supplies to virtually all of Iraq's Shi’ite militias.


Most Iraqis dislike the Iranians. In fact, "dislike" is too mild a term. In 2004 and early 2005, when it still seemed as if the United States-led reconstruction of Iraq might succeed, Shiite politicians were bending over backward to demonstrate that they were independent of Iran for fear their constituents would not support them otherwise.

Furthermore, while Iranian support is no doubt gratefully received, the evidence suggests that it is now more a supplement than a necessity for the major militias. At this point, the main Shiite groups — the Supreme Council for the Islamic Revolution in Iraq, the Mahdi Army, and the Fadhila Party among others — have considerable support among the population and are accused of making enormous amounts of money off oil smuggling and organized crime.

So Tehran can influence the behavior of the Shiite groups, but it probably would have a hard time forcing them to do things they do not want to do — like disbanding their militias, accepting a national reconciliation agreement, participating in an equitable oil-sharing scheme or accepting any of the other major changes that the Bush administration is seeking. If Iran were to threaten to end its support for these groups, they would most likely tell Tehran to get lost. What's more, the Iranians seem to understand this, having so far proven reluctant to try to force any of the Shiite groups to radically change course.

The limits on Iranian influence are a double-edged sword. They mean that we cannot count on Iran to solve Iraq's problems, but they also mean that we need not offer the Iranians the world in return for their assistance. Right now, Tehran and its bombastic president are riding high in the Middle East, and they will doubtless want something in return for helping America deal with Iraq. For instance, they may demand that the United States drop its objections to their nuclear program or cave in to Hezbollah's demands for a greater say in Lebanon.

We can't simply expect Iran to save Iraq for us. We Americans need a new, feasible plan of our own. Only then will we know how best Iran can help, and what we are willing to pay for that help. Talking to Iran without such a plan would be fruitless, if not folly.

...Amid heated debate in search of a viable Iraq solution, there is a growing chorus from supposed foreign-policy "realists" to bring the Iranian regime into negotiations, failing to realize that Iranian regime, facing acute crisis at home, has a direct interest in seeing Iraq in chaos.
Since it took power in 1979, Iran's clerical regime has coveted its neighbor Iraq.
Article 11 of Iran's constitution stipulates, "All Muslims are one nation, and the Islamic Republic of Iran is duty-bound to rest its general policy on the unity of Islamic nations and undertake efforts to realize the political, economic, and cultural unity of the Islamic world." (I had alluded to this constitutional article in my previous entries)

For many historical reasons, Iraq was the most strategic target. The appetite of Iran's ayatollahs is no secret: They want to establish a proxy regime in Iraq, which has the world's second-largest known oil reserves and a majority Shiite population.
Despite the countries' eight-year war in 1980s, Ayatollah Khomeini failed to fulfill his dream of "liberating Jerusalem via Karbala." He died in 1989, but his disciples pursued the dream. Iraqi opposition groups were trained, financed, and nurtured for years, waiting for another opportunity. Even in his political will, Khomeini urged his successors to continue their efforts to foment an Islamic revolution in Iraq.

The 2003 U.S.-led invasion of Iraq provided Tehran's mullahs the ideal moment. For the first time since Iranian and Iraqi guns fell silent along their 900-mile common border in July 1988, the Iranian theocracy saw a historic opportunity to extend its influence in Iraq.
Inviting Iran to participate in negotiations on the future of Iraq is like inviting the foxes to join the discussion on how the chicken coop should be managed. One does not have to be a rocket scientist to see the fallacy of such an idea...

Ahmadinejad comes face to face with an ocean of angry & Jobless workers

Iran Press News published photos of thousands of hungry workers in the province of Mazandaran (Caspian region of Iran) protesting while Ahmadinejad traveled to that area. Frustrated people chanted slogans about joblessness, destitution. Ahmadinejad was forced to stop speaking several times.

Translation: Is anyone thinking of us needy? No they are not.
Translation: We need jobs.
