Hamas Admits That Its Fighters are Trained in Iran

If this is not Iran's proxy war against Israel, then I don't know what is??

The Palestinian group Hamas, blamed for last week’s massacre of eight students at a Jewish seminary in Jerusalem, has revealed that hundreds of its fighters have been trained in Iran. A senior commander interviewed by The Sunday Times said 300 of the group’s “best brains” had been secretly sent to Tehran. Half are still being trained by Revolutionary Guards. They are learning how to make explosives from everyday items and produce deadlier rockets.

Viva Argentina

Argentina's President is going to address the world body at the UN and expose the criminal mullahs and the type of regime they represent.

If you recall, Argentinian prosecutors formally charged Iran’s ex-President Ali-Akbar Hashemi-Rafsanjani and several other former officials over the 1994 bombing of a Jewish center in Buenos Aires in October of 2006.

The 1994 explosion devastated the Argentinian Israelite Mutual Association (AMIA), killing dozens and injuring many others....“We have proven that the decision for the July 18, 1994, attack against AMIA that caused 85 deaths and wounded at least 151 was a decision taken by high-ranking authorities of Iran’s government at that time,” Nisman said. “These authorities ordered the Lebanese Shi’ite organization Hizballah to carry out this attack. It is known that this organization [Hizballah] is, from all points of view, a sub-organization of the regime in Tehran.”
Prosecutors also asked the judge to detain other senior Iranians, including former Intelligence Minister Ali Fallahian and ex-Foreign Minister Ali-Akbar Velayati.

They are also seeking two former commanders of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), two former Iranian diplomats, and a former Hizballah security chief for their alleged roles in the killings.”

Meanwhile, amidst threats from Islamic Republic, President Kirchner of Argentina does not surrender:

But a source close to the Argentine Jewish Mutual Association said on condition of anonymity that Kirchner had "committed to bringing up the matter of the attack" against the group during his address to the world body.
Four relatives of victims from that attack also planned to travel to New York and attend the session with members of the Argentine delegation."It will be a strong signal from the Argentine government to the international community that light must be shed and the guilty must be punished," the source said.Leaders of top Jewish associations in Argentina were also expected to travel to New York for the annual UN session, and Baharvand accused them of organizing "parallel diplomacy" and trying to "blackmail" the Argentine government.

Diplomatic Insanity with Regards to Iran

AJacksonian:

Iran, the hostage-taking, lovely Islamic Republic of Iran is back up to its old tricks of taking Americans hostage and then looking to get America to back down for the fact that Iran has taken hostages. Got that? This thing started in 1979 with the Iran Hostage Crisis, when Iran committed a casus belli against the United States by invading the Embassy in Tehran, Iran, taking hostages and looting the place. You know, the 'nest of vipers' from the CIA - the Embassy of the United States. And do you remember the response of President Carter?First was condemnation of the act!“I ask that you release unharmed all Americans presently detained in Iran” - President Carter. And then the diplospeak of appeasement: “I have asked both men to meet with you and to hear from you your perspective on events in Iran and the problems which have arisen between our two countries. The people of the United States desire to have relations with Iran based upon equality, mutual respect and friendship.”Actually, before that was the internecine squabbling inside the National Security Council between Zbigniew Brzezinski, who wanted to back the Shah of Iran 'to the hilt' and had guaranteed the Shah that this would be done, and Cyrus Vance, Secretary of State, who wanted to come to terms with the Khomeini regime.

These two would have had some basis in that outlook if the Khomeini regime would play the 'Great Game' and resume its place as a strategic ally or at least neutral to the US.That, however, was not to be as it would not commit to the Soviets or the US, but put forth hostility to both. The schizophrenia on the part of the Carter Administration was due to the fact that President Carter really had no conception of what the role of the US was in the Middle East, beyond protecting oil supplies. It was this incoherence and swinging back and forth that originally led to having the Shah left in Mexico as the coup happened, then, when the Shah needed medical treatment for his cancer, having pressure from Henry Kissinger and Nelson Rockerfeller, convincing Carter to then let the Shah into the US for treatment. That ticked off the Ayatollah and led to the hostage taking which *then* got us the condemnation of that act.

Because the US couldn't decide who to support in the 'Great Game' of 'Geostrategic Politics' with respect to Iran.Yes, 'Realism' and not supporting democracy in and of itself, so that criticism could have been put against the Shah, Khomeini and anyone without regard to alignment in the 'Great Game'. Iran was a 'buffer state' and ally of the US and seen as a means to keep the Soviet Union from expanding power into the Middle East, but only if you were aligned along the 'Realist' mindset. Khomeini was not, and President Carter could not hold to any formulation of supporting democracy across-the-board due to what understandings he had about foreign policy. Mind you, the folks in Iran didn't like the repressive Shah, would have hated an autocratic Communist regime and came to detest their hijacked revolution as the radical Islamists took power.Got that?

Brzezinski could have dealt with the Iranians if they cooperated, but they wouldn't, and Vance wanted to cooperate no matter what (diplomacy is *always* the right choice). And there was a loud absence of anyone trying to stand up for actual people to have a right to self-government.There are some that are putting forth the idea that President Carter pushed an Islamic 'Green Belt' between the US and USSR in the Middle East, to form up a number of 'moderate muslim nations' that would serve as a bulwark against Communism and that this was supported by Brzezinski. A few push this idea further back to support of Saudi Arabia and countering Nasser. While some objective concepts are seen via this, like the formation of the Muslim Brotherhood into something that would become a terrorist sponsoring and ideology hot house to put Soviet sponsored regimes at threat, they do not account for Turkey, Iraq, Syria, Libya and a number of other Nations that had Nationalistic outlook that also had strong elements of secular rule. Mohamar Ghadaffy would attempt to sponsor his *own* Islamic organization to sponsor terrorism to counter MB and other regimes have been able to keep out Islamism either via autocratic and dictatorial rule, like Iraq and Syria, or via a secular means like Turkey.

In either event, the support of Brzezinski was more aligned with the direct, Nation State containment system that was not theocratically aligned. This is not a dismissal of the concept out of hand, but putting forth that if it *was* a conception carried through by the likes of Kissingers, Brzezinski, Baker, Scowcroft, and other foreign policy 'Realists', it remains one that is so low key as to be unrecognizable.Ah, now back to that great ideal that President Carter put forth: "The United States of America will not yield to international terrorism or to blackmail."One of the things that President Carter didn't do, before this, was actually address the FIRST time the US Embassy was invaded in Tehran nine months previously. That FEB 1979 break-in and invasion was left unaddressed by the Carter Administration as a whole, but it avoided any confrontation with the new regime in Tehran over that. So we did, indeed, yield to international terrorism BEFORE the hostage taking by not addressing the terrorism of that first go-around. To put forth this concept after the second break-in and full hostage taking is disingenuous by President Carter: the time to speak up is whenever National Sovereignty is broken and even in the 'Great Game' that is a necessary thing to do so as to extract any advantage over the other side whenever possible.

Of course it would have helped if the US Ambassador to the UN would have spoken up in a disapproving manner after that first break-in, also. But even that was not to be done when Ambassador Andrew Young put forth that Khomeini was “a Twentieth Century saint”. Add that to the initial openness of Brzezinski and is it any wonder that things got *worse*?And when nice words and appeals to a religious radical who has taken over a Nation don't work?

Then we see freezing of assets, ending oil imports from Iran (as if the world oil market cared), expelling Iranian diplomats, and actually expelling Iranians in the country ILLEGALLY. So that's what it takes to get a Democrat to move on this? Holding an Embassy's staff hostage? No *wonder* we have so many illegals in the US....Finally, somewhere in there, President Carter realized that this was being done in 'bad faith' and he would cut off diplomatic relations and then stage a failed rescue attempt. Plus go to the UN and get those ever-so-handy sanctions that other Nations can bypass and ignore.

Iran finally got tired of the game when Saddam invaded and gave President Carter a final tweak by releasing the hostages after he left office. No thanks to the UN, 'international community', 'sanctions' or the like. That moves us onto the lovely era of Ronald Reagan where... hey, no fair reading ahead and getting to Iran/Contra where zealous staffers thought it would be 'a neat idea' to NEGOTIATE with Iran by giving them arms to release hostages and use those same connections to help funnel Saudi money and illegally gained money through intermediaries to fund the Contras. And one of those was a Syrian! No, those would only come *after* Iranian sponsored Hezbollah had attack the US Embassy in Beirut, bombed the US Marine Corps Barracks in Beirut, force the US to leave Beirut and then, for good measure, bomb the Embassy AGAIN! Then all the NEW hostage takings in Beirut would have the Administration working behind the scenes to do the above. You see, we wouldn't 'reward terrorism'.So what is that called when terrorists bomb your Embassy, kill your soldiers, kidnap your government officials and then you deal with them by trading arms and utilize one of the intermediaries to buy arms for someone else... and his cut then goes to help those that had done all of that? Ronald Reagan was a great foe of the USSR, yes. His ability to actually hold terrorists accountable to anything they did against the US was lackluster at best and actually encouraged them at worse.

Remember, if you like the McFarlane/North/Poindexter/Secord thing, then you *also* support the idea of paying Syria to support Hezbollah via that and reward it for getting our Embassy bombed and our Marines killed. This is not a 'neat idea' it is rewarding terrorists. What other great ideas were presented on Iran, beyond rewarding them for killing Americans? President Reagan sent a cake to Ayatollah Khomeini. Let us hope that this remains only 'purported' to have done so...I do applaud President Reagan for the things he got right. I do shake my head that in getting other things wrong, he set the Nation up for long term problems that would go unaddressed and get worse because they remained unconfronted. Then the grand total of George H.W. Bush's attitude towards Syria was to 'reward' it for not doing much of anything during the first Gulf War. And what was that reward? About $5 billion.

Not bad for 16,000 men not doing much of anything, isn't it? Don't mind you that their hands are bloody from helping Hezbollah kill Americans... that is far too un-'Realistic'.Now President Clinton, what did he do to stop the Iran-Syria axis from expanding? Did he finally punish either of them? Confront them at least? Hold them accountable for *anything*?Heavens, no! That might take some forethought, guts and standing up for the US, its ideals and actually blaming other Nations for things they have *done*. Can't have that! Instead the Clinton Administration helped Iran expand its influence into the Balkans by dithering on doing anything about Bosnia. They would also reach out to help bomb the Israeli Embassy and cultural center in Argentina and establish themselves in the Tri-Border Area of South America and further expand influence into Chechnya and begin interfering with Turkish politics, beyond their regular nasty work with Hezbollah in Lebanon.Yes, not only not confront Iran or Syria but actually ensure that nothing was done to stop their spread and, even, *encourage it* via inaction! What a great President, no? To hold no one accountable for the killing of American Embassy staff and Marines? Plus do nothing to stop them from killing more Americans like in the Khobar towers attack.

Can't do anything about it, don't you know, someone might get a bit upset.Just step around the dead Americans, nothing to see here...Save for three American hostages in Iran and thank you to Mark Steyn and h/t to Scott Johnson at Powerline for pointing this out! Apparently this is a great 'secret' that the MSM doesn't want to release and that the Bush Administration doesn't want to talk about. Because, as Scott Johnson points out, there will be a 'diplomatic push' coming up.With Iran. Can't interfere with diplomacy!Thank you, America, for 28 years of cowardice and being unable to stand up to tyrants, despots and dictators. The Nation seems to have run its course after confronting Communists. All ideologically tuckered out.

And freedom bartered away for 'diplomacy'.Bake them a cake before talking with them, these kidnappers and killers. It is traditional. Before you appease them. And weaken the Nation more. And forget that President Jefferson won respect by fighting, and meant what he said about 'not one red cent for tribute'.And that the first US vessel to circumnavigate the globe was a warship, sent by President Jackson to deal with Pirates who threatened us, literally on the other side of the planet.Apparently the only cakes involved then, were of gunpowder. That was the international language for dealing with them.Sent a clear message, too, come to that.

Letter from the Heart

This letter published in Letter's section of Iranian.com in response to a rabid Islamist's article with a law degree from an American University, an IRI' apologist, living in the US. The author of the letter is a veteran of 8 year Iran-Iraq war. This letter is long but provides a wealth of knowledge about Iran, Iranian society, and the so-called Iranian revolution. It is rare in its kind and I was personally moved by it for many reasons. Perhaps someday, I will share them with you. Dear Mr Ershaghi

First let me thank you for taking the time to put your thoughts in writing for the rest of us to read. However I find it so ironic that those who suppress the voice of masses and prevent free media and free debate whenever their power allows them, have no problem to express their own suppressive thoughts on such free and open to all firms.

Before any thing else I would like to confirm that you have touched on some very important issues about the state of our country and the mentality of people inside and out of Iran and although I might not agree with all of your assessments but the importance of the points you have raised could not be debated.

Let me start my assessment by giving my total agreement with one important point that you made in your assessment.

The opposition groups outside Iran are not united. They are mostly are a bunch of incompetent self-centred cronies who have mostly got their own interest in mind and are not at all in touch with the realities of life inside Iran, or what is happening to its people. This is their biggest weakness and as you have rightly put it yourself many of them have lend themselves to other third parties and foreign governments who do not have the interest of Iranian people in mind.
I guess every body has his price, as yours was a seat on the Tehran University's board of lecturers.

Another very important point that I find my self in agreement with you is the fact that the West and specially US have not yet understood the nature of mullahs and the extent on their duplicity. For the past 28m years the West kept undermining them and refused to admit to their strengths or look for their real weak points and as a result they kept undermining the West and its efforts to deal with them efficiently. But that is another story for another day and definitely out of the scope of this discussion.

However as for the rest of your article, I found it to be extremely naïve twisted and so out of touch with the realities on the ground that kept me wondering if your brain have been frozen since 1979 and you have just come out of the state of hibernation.

It is so ironic that every mass murderer, suppressor, dictator and fascist always hides behind the masses and claims to be supported by the poor people in their victim society. This was the same about Hitler Stalin Mao and the 13 th Imam. When on the other hand it has always been the case about the true popular leaders that they have always stood in front of their nation and led them.

Especially when you claim that all the poor people of country are behind these mass murderer and the apposition is only confined to the wealthy people of northern Tehran. I personally find it as adding insult to injury, as you seem to believe just because we do not have a lot of money we must also lack brain and capability to think or evaluate and analyse these events for ourselves, or we do capable of being moderate and wanting to live a free life.

Just to put your mind in ease first let me to clear a few things about myself. I have been in Tehran less than 10 times in the past ten years and I have never even seen Niavaran.
The last time my family and I went to Caspian coast (Shomaal) was around 25 years ago when it was still affordable for the average Iranian to do so. And I have even been born in the very religious city of Mashhad.

The next time you come to Mashhad just come to Tabarsi Street and ask for the Javadyye Alley way as that is were my family roots are and my relatives still live. We live a simple but honest life and we do not have a lot of money to splash around.

Another important point that I want you to remember is the fact that at the time when you were doing your university education in US of A and living a life of convenience it was me and people like me who went to war and fought Saddam's army. I personally served in 21st Brigade.
However I did it out of love for my motherland and not to spread Khomeini's version of Islam or going to Karbala. As it was the case for me and many of my comrades, we saw it as our duty to defend their motherland.

We fought for 4 years and brought Saddam's army into its knees. Until 1984 when Saddam agreed to a UN peace accord and even Saudi Arabia agreed to pay compensation to Iran for all the damages of the war. But because of the selfishness of one stubborn man who wanted to go spread his power in the region we were made to fight a pointless war for another 6 years, which killed a generation and devastated our country socially and economically.

Now to see someone like you trying to take advantage of our sacrifices and twisting the truth in order to further their own personal ambition really sickens me to the stomach.

For the facts that I explained above, it makes me very qualified to be one of the masses and in case you have been hiding your head in your back side for the past 20 years I should inform you that I am not the only one in my social class who thinks like this.

I was born in a traditional Muslim family and my parents tried their best to raise me as a "good Muslim" but after 25 years of observing the Muslim hypocrisy and the crimes, which happened in my country under the banner of Islam, I became sick and tired of it and so I converted to Zartosht. Ironically I see my self more lucky than my friends and other people of my generation who are still left in the limbo of carrying the title of Muslim but not truly believing in its doctoring or even resenting it.

In your article you made several claims about the fruits of revolution, where it stands and the faith of its enemies. As to an untrained eye or a person who has not actually lived it Iran and is not in touch with the reality of life here you might be able to get away with these claims But to a person like me it is noting but a house of cards and as soon as you pool one card out the whole thing will collapse.

But first things first.

Before any thing let me to remind you about a few fruits of 28 years suppression that you forgot to mention. Because I believe as a grass root member of this society who deals with its social problems day in day out, that makes me more than qualified to remind you of a few of those out comes:
1- More than 10 million unemployed.
2- Double digit inflation
3- Incapability to refine our own oil and having to buy petrol from abroad
4- Record level of drug addicts
5- Record number of young girls who resort to prostitution because of poverty
6- An economy in ruin
7- A grim international reputation, as every body regards us as terrorists
8- Record number of young people fleeing the country to become homeless refugees around the world
9- Child poverty at its highest level. Even worst that the time of Ghaajaar dynasty
10- Ten years of pointless war which left our economy industry and human resources it ruin

And this is only the tip of the iceberg as the list goes on and on and on.
However may be the most naïve statement that I encountered in your article was the following
"The fact that the majority of the country is young is more of an economic issue than anything else, but somehow this is always transformed into a political issue. "

In this argument you seem to try to distinguish between the political and economical affair of the country. Which leaves one wondering about the authenticity of your education or the extent that you are willing to twist the fact and close your eyes the facts of life just to serve your own personal interests and ambitions.

To any body who have ever opened a book on economy sociology and politic it should be obvious the political and economical events of a country are so inter related that they could only be regarded as one and the same.

In fact it is the first and foremost duty of the government, the politicians and leader of any country to make sure that the economy is in a viable and healthy status as everything else is driven from that.

Just read The Wealth of Nations by Adam Smith. What people want from their leaders is good managed economy, which creates jobs and wealth for those who are willing to work for it. They want such economy to first exist and be sustained and then its fruits ( i.e. tax revenue) to be used as basis for building other social institutions and infrastructures such as health education, welfare and a police which serves the people and provides them with security instead of suppressing and beating them up.

We do not want our leader to prepare us for the dooms day as we already have got Nostradamus for that. We do not want our leaders to preach religion as we already have the clerics and religious institutions for that. We do not want or leaders and security services to interfere in the utmost private aspects of our lives as we feel we are mature enough to decide for our selves. At the time when we have record poverty in the country we definitely do not want our leaders to waist our money on every shadowy terrorist group around the glob just to buy themselves some useless publicity.

As for your assessment of the faith of the enemies of revolution let me clear a few points for you.
First of all, MKO was the group who started the revolution and they were the ones who rallied around Khomeini and introduced him to Iranian people. I was there heard all their slogans and saw them in action during the revolution. Now can you claim the same thing?

They though that they can use Khomeini to get into power and then push him aside, but Khomeini was more dubious than they have taken him for and in the end he turned the table on them. Just like every other revolution this one's first victims became its own children. However I must admit that I believe that MKO got what they deserve and they deserve what they got, for betraying their people and country and I loos no sleep over their misery and misfortune.
As for Saddam Hussein he was noting but a poppet of the West who came to power by his coup against Ahmed Hassan Al-Baker in 1977 (with the support of The West).

His time came to an end when he started to bit the hand of his masters and his doom was when he started to deal Oil in Euro instead of American Dollar. An action, which would have inevitably resulted in the breaking of the Petro-dollar-Arms cycle (Now, I leave it to you do more investigation on that).

As for the Taliban, their end came when they started to pose a treat to The West by siding with Al -Quade and even more importantly when they were seen as an obstacle to the Caspian Sea oil pipeline to transfer Russian oil to the Persian Gulf.

Their end had noting do with the incompetent mullahs. It is simply ridicules and arrogant to try and claim credit for these events (as it is not even attempted by the people in the establishment).

Finally, on your remarks about the export of your disaster of revolution and its shadowy allies around the world. These are bunch of opportunist terrorists who are noting but "Magase Dore Shirini". They only coexist with the mullahs because Mullahs pay them well. As we all saw, after the Lebanon's war Hezbollah was paying $1000 per person to the people in South Lebanon.

This was the money given to them by the mullahs. The money, which should have been spent to develop our own country's infrastructure, health service and economy instead. The money, which could have tackled child poverty in Iran and help young families to get back on their feet. But instead it was paid to bribe Hezbollah in order to get their support. The support that could neither be useful nor even be relied on. Now it is needless to repeat the same story with Hamas.

These are the people who have no problem to betray their own, as they have done it several times before. If you doubt, me just have another look at the faith of Arafat and Rafigh Hariri. Now what chance do you think you have when some one else like Syria Saudi Arabia or even U.S come along and through them a bigger bone, are you really naïve enough to believe that they would still remain loyal to you or are you ready to admit that they would be the first ones to betray you.

Khomeini was a selfish greedy Indian bustard who had no regard or feeling for this country and its people. That was why he did not feel any thing when he was coming to devastate this land. In fact right to the end, after his policies killed more than one million of our people and destroyed our economy and country's infrastructure still he had no felling of remorse or otherwise and kept being the biter stubborn monster that he was, right to the end.

Amir Taheri on Tehran's hostages

NY Post: Amir Taheri on Haleh Esfandiari, Hamilton, Kian Tajbakhsh and Soros:

...Frequent visitors to Iran, the two had never been molested before. Both belong to groups opposed to regime change in Iran and critical of the Bush policy of challenging the Islamic Republic.

Esfandiari works for the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars - whose director, ex-Rep. Lee Hamilton, has championed normalization with the Islamic Republic for decades. He was a key member of the Iraq Study Group, which urged the opening of a dialogue with Tehran practically on terms demanded by the mullahs.

And Hamilton built his position partly on Esfandiari's advice. The Woodrow Wilson Center has organized numerous workshops on Iran, but seldom invited regime opponents. Its guiding principle was that the Islamic Republic is what most Iranians want, and that America should help the "moderate faction" in Tehran.

Esfandiari's writings on Iran over three decades could be described as sympathetic to the Islamic revolution, although critical of some regime policies, especially on women's issues.

Soros, meanwhile, is an open opponent of Bush's policy on Iran. He has met a number of "moderate Khomeinists," indicating support for their faction. In 2004, he poured $15 million into support for Sen. John Kerry's presidential hopes. Soros would be the last person to want to overthrow the mullahs and hand Bush his biggest victory.

Both Esfandiari and Tajbakhsh have always denounced the anti-mullah opposition as nostalgia-stricken monarchists, residual leftists or worse. Both always refused to grant interviews to Iranian-opposition TV and radio shows beamed from Los Angeles, or to even the U.S.-funded Voice of America. Whatever the two were up to, they did not go to Iran to help liberate it from the Khomeinists.

Some have tried to pin the arrests on feuds within the regime. In this analysis, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and his radical faction feared that the two Americans were looking to help the "moderate faction" (led by ex-President Hashemi Rafsanjani) make a comeback in next year's general election.

Yet Esfandiari hasn't lived in Iran for more than 32 years; she hardly knows enough people to create a "network" for any conspiracy. Similarly, Tajbakhsh hasn't lived in Iran since his teens.

In fact, the two were easy prey for a predatory regime that, unsure of the popular mood, increasingly fears its own shadow. Their illegal arrest and inhuman treatment is part of a broader campaign by the radical revolutionary faction to terrorize its enemies inside Iran and confuse adversaries abroad.

* In recent weeks, some 150,000 women and young men have been arrested, fined, beaten up or kept in prison for days on charges of contravening the Islamic Dress Code enacted last May.

* A massive purge of the universities is under way, with thousands of students, teachers and faculty deans shown the door for allegedly "un-Islamic" sentiments. Over 400 students and teachers are reportedly held in various parts of the country without being charged.

* A state of emergency has been declared in parts of four western provinces, where ethnic minorities live, and in parts of the southeast bordering Pakistan.

* At least 30 trade unionists have been arrested and one of Iran's best-known labor leaders, Mansour Osanloo, abducted by agents of the regime. A news agency covering labor in Iran has been shut down and its assets seized.

* Dozens of newspapers and magazines have been shut and the black list of authors and books has been extended to include hundreds more names and titles.

* Several prominent figures of the rival faction, including a brother of ex-President Muhammad Khatami, face show trials on charges resembling those against Tajbakhsh and Esfandiari.

* Ahmadinejad's faction has also launched a campaign of blackmail against Rafsanjani and his entourage, including Khatami, by threatening to publish details of their alleged corruption and misuse of public funds between 1989 and 2005.

When Tajbakhsh and Esfandiari traveled to Iran a few months ago, they may have believed it would be just another visit to their former homeland. They didn't appreciate the fact that Ahmadinejad means what he says: His "second revolution" is preparing for war against the Iranian middle classes at home and the Western democracies abroad.

The episode underscores two facts: First, no dialogue is possible with a regime that demands nothing short of total submission at home and abroad. Second, the regime feels weak enough to fear a "velvet revolution" led by women, workers, students and, ultimately, even the more moderate clergy. Hmm . . . maybe someone will try it, even though the two captive Americans did not.
. And here is the rest of it.

Nonsense

Nonsense
By: Roxie

To the citizens of the United States of AmericaI am not an elected official.

I am not a government employee. I am not even highly educated. I am but one citizen of the United States of America. Many citizens may prefer to ignore my written text and embrace the continuous feed of politically tainted propaganda mass produced by three major 24-hour news networks inside the United States and two 24-hour news networks outside the United States and the print outlets these networks own.

In America’s war of Independence, thirteen colonies fought the Kingdom of Great Britain from 1775 to 1783. Just as it was in the 1700s, the cause of Americans today is the cause of all humankind. When vile people abuse power and commit homicidal-suicidal acts in the name of some God, it is a problem for all of humankind because the natural rights of everyone are affected but such barbarian acts. Never in the course of history have vile barbarians ever reformed as the result of talking to them. Elected officials may wish to deceive citizens into believing that vile barbarians can reform if we talk to them, but such belief runs contrary to all of history. Those who appeased the Nazis prior to World War II found themselves overrun by the Nazis. It took the greater portion of humankind, working together, to remove the Nazi party from the face of the earth.

Today’s threat against humankind is far different from that of the Nazi era yet both are the abuse of power by a few imposed by force upon the many. Both have caused the death and destruction of innocent men, women and children. Both are contrary to world peace. While the Nazis used and perverted the swastika, an ancient religious symbol which represented life, sun, power, strength and good luck, the Islamic revolutionaries have used and perverted the religion of Islam. Unlike Nazism, which grew from a single nation, Islamic revolutionary terrorism was empowered and then exported and used by the United States as a Cold War weapon against the Soviet Union. The success of this Cold War weapon was not in the combat training provided by the CIA but in the underlying ideology of the Islamic revolutionary terrorists who were fighting a war, not for the United States but for Allah against the godless Soviet Union. Today Islamic revolutionaries exist covertly and overtly in many nations around the world.

Bassam Tibi, a professor of political science at Göttingen, Germany, and at Harvard said, “The goal of the Islamic fundamentalists is to abolish the Western, secular world order and replace it with a new Islamist divine order....The goal of the Islamists is a new imperial, absolutist Islamic world power.” Unless citizens are prepared to live under Islamic rule, then Islamic revolutionary terrorists are the citizen’s enemy because their final solution is to impose Islamic law upon the whole world. Unless Christian citizens are prepared to surrender their Christian rights, then Islamic revolutionary terrorists are the enemy of every Christian citizen. Islamic revolutionary terrorists embrace monotheism, the belief in one God, named Allah. While the Islamic revolutionary terrorists believe in the existence of Jesus, whom they call a prophet, they deny the deity of the Father and the Son.

Those who appease and defend Islamic revolutionaries are attempting to deceive American citizens. Such deception was foreseen by the writer of the First Epistle of John who wrote in I John, Chapter 2, verse 22, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist that denieth the Father and the Son.” In verse 26, the writer of I John states, “These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.” Whether it is politically correct or not to say, the truth is that Islamic revolutionary terrorists want to impose a world order that is antichrist. American citizens can be reasonably certain that Islamic revolutionary terrorism and Christianity will never share the same compatibility that Catholics and Protestants have shared in the United States. The imperial, absolutist Islamic world will never coexist with Christianity; therefore, unless Christian Americans are prepared to surrender Christianity as they know it, then they have no alternative but to oppose the antichrist forces on every level and in every place. Those who advocate talking to and negotiating with the imperial, absolutist Islamic terrorists are using a politically correct shell game to hide common sense truth while presenting the American people a delusion of nonsense based on false beliefs.

These Islamic revolutionary terrorists seeking to conquer the world for Allah and impose their absolutist Islamic world order upon humankind have been aided by world leaders who embrace Christianity, and by religious leaders who embrace Islam. The Christian President Jimmy Carter aided the creation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, an Islamic revolutionary nation that has exported its absolutist Islamic world order for three decades. The American CIA supported Saudi Arabian Osama bin-Laden’s campaign against the Soviet Union. The United Nations has supported Hezbollah and Hamas. Christian leaders have been mostly silent the past three decades as the absolutist Islamic forces grew and prospered. Islamic leaders have also been mostly silent as the absolutist Islamic forces used Islam to bring about homicidal-suicidal murders and armed conflicts around the world.T

he appeasement of vile barbaric creatures who inflict great suffering on humankind reflects a decline in moral values among world leaders and political leaders. They have, as they have done historically, turned a blind-eye to those imposing barbaric acts on humankind. Such morally corrupt leaders embrace a false belief that evil does not exist, or if evil does exist it can be talked away. If this were true there would be no need for jails because evil criminals could be persuaded to turn from their wicked ways. The morally corrupt leaders falsely blame the America’s foreign policies for the expansion of Islamic revolutionary barbarianism and ignore the core religious ideology that gave raise to Islamic revolutionary terrorism, thereby selling American citizens and the world a package of false beliefs about the true nature of the barbarians. Even worse, these morally compromised world leaders and spiritually polluted religious leaders sell humankind the nonsense that changing the behavior of Americans and Christians will magically solve the problems created by the Islamic revolutionary terrorists. To falsely blame America’s foreign policy and Christian behavior for the Islamic revolutionary terrorism is utter nonsense and is dangerous to the United States, Christianity and all of humankind.Whatever the arguments about the roots of terrorism, whatever plans to end the vile homicidal-suicidal acts of Islamic revolutionaries, those arguments and plans of the previous three decades were superseded and useless after the vicious attacks on American soil on September 11, 2001. Independence shall not survive long if those who plant the seeds of the ideology that grew the barbarianism of 9/11 are permitted to continue to teach and expand that ideology anywhere in the world. Leaving the teachers of the perverted ideology that brought America 9/11 is not only a disservice to Americans; it is a disservice to all of humankind.

Yet voices continue to call for the continuation of the very appeasement of the Islamic revolutionary terrorists that permitted them to grow from a small band of AK-47 toting extremists into a mature tactically advanced empire that reached around the world to bring about the 9/11 attacks.

Even now, some are advocate negotiating with those who brought America 9/11, brought Lebanon years of destruction, Palestine false hope, Sudan carnage, Iraq instability, and endless war in distant places like Somalia. As the United Nations talked about Iran’s nuclear program, Islamic revolutionary terrorists inside Iran increased their efforts to obtain nuclear weapons and tested more sophisticated missiles. Those who support appeasement and support talking to terrorists and nations who train, fund and arm terrorists may be included in the following descriptions: Interested people who should not be trusted because they have their own agenda, weak-minded people too afraid to look at the truth, prejudiced men who do see but will not expose the truth, and millions of average people infected with the politically correct biased pseudo-news of the 24-hour television news channels. Advocating that humankind can become friends with Islamic revolutionary terrorists if we, those who do not cut off human heads, play nice with those who do cut off human heads is utter nonsense.

Over the past two decades as Americans attacked with zest and spent millions of dollars to oppose the immorality, homosexuality, they turned a blind-eye to a far greater immorality. The Islamic revolutionary immorality has harmed humankind by destroying billions of dollars in property, killing a host of completely innocent men, women and children and causing millions of people to become homeless. Blinded by homosexuality some religious leaders blamed America’s humanitarian treatment of homosexual people for 9/11 instead of laying the blame for the attacks at the feet of the Islamic revolutionary terrorists. It was immoral of American political and religious leaders to turn a blind-eye to the barbarian ideology that was ravaging cities in nations around the globe. The nonsense of pursuing a tiny immorality while permitting an antichrist abomination to grow so large and so strong as to endanger all of humankind betrayed not only Americans but billions of people around the world.

Every quiet method to end Islamic revolutionary terrorism has resulted in its expansion, never its decline. After 9/11 the United States faced the undeniable truth that the ideology of Islamic revolutionary terrorism had to be destroyed or it would continue to grow and devour the entire world, including the United States. When Islamic revolutionary terrorists bogged down U. S. forces in Iraq, American leaders decided to study the problem. The Iraq Study Group, a group influenced by the same people who helped create the first Islamic nation, the Islamic Republic of Iran, sold America the false belief that the Iraq war could not be won militarily and that the Iraq war was only making terrorism worse. The Iraq Study Group ignored the fact that the United Nation’s quiet diplomacy with Hezbollah in Lebanon had resulted in the expansion of Islamic revolutionary terrorism in Lebanon, not in the decline of Islamic revolutionary terrorism. The Iraq Study Group report, influenced by the biased people who helped create the Islamic Republic of Iran, embraced the false belief that diplomacy was the answer to the barbarianism ravaging humankind around the world. It is also a false belief that a war can not be won militarily. History has proven that all wars can be won. Even the most recent war against Islamic revolutionary terrorists, called the Crusades by historians, was able to be won militarily. The Iraq Study Group’s recommendations run counter to history and embrace a dangerous false belief that diplomacy will resolve the problem of terrorism when in fact diplomacy empowers and expands Islamic revolutionary terrorism. When one considers that the CIA helped Islamic revolutionary terrorism spread and that former President Jimmy Carter aided in the creation of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the proposed abandonment of Iraq, a nation affected by Islamic revolutionary terrorism as a direct result of the U.S. invasion, shows some elected officials to be self-serving political parasites who lack any sense of morality for humankind. Those elected American officials who arrogantly and boldly proclaim they voted for the war in Iraq before they voted against it have proven to the citizens that they possess no real core moral values. They are the spineless creatures who helped bring about the spread of the immoral and barbaric Islamic revolution. They are as guilty of cutting off human heads as the people who hold the knives. They compromise moral right for political gain and represent a danger to democracy and to Christianity, both of which the vile Islamic revolutionary barbarians seek to destroy. It would be pure nonsense to reelect these morally bankrupt souls to public office because doing so would continue to inflict barbarianism on humankind around the world.

It will be impossible for Americans, as citizens or Christians, to continue to enjoy every civil and religious right if America’s religious leaders and elected officials continue to permit the growth and spread of the great immorality destroying innocent men, women and children, and overthrowing governments. It does not require a mixing of religion with politics to end the reign of Islamic revolutionary terrorists, but simply the basic moral values that should be an intimate part of all elected officials and religious leaders. In fact it was the mixing of Islam and politics that created the Islamic revolutionary monster devouring humankind. Both Christianity and the American political system will be destroyed if Islamic revolutionary terrorists are permitted to realize their goals and those pushing such false beliefs on American citizens are peddling nonsense. Therefore the war against terrorism preserves both democracy and Christianity.

America’s war on terrorism has failed thus far, not because it is not a noble and necessary war, and not because it can not be won militarily, but because America has not yet begun to fight. Places like the Islamic Republic of Iran, the world’s largest sponsor of Islamic revolutionary terrorism, have remained untouched in the war on terror. America’s religious leaders, both Islamic and Christian, have failed to lead the moral fight against the ideology that inspires the homicidal-suicidal attacks on innocent men, women and children. Religious leaders permit the cycle of Islamic revolution to continue by condemning the acts of terrorism yet continuing to appease the antichrist sinners teaching more souls to kill themselves in the name of Allah. It is a question of moral right and moral wrong. Those same leaders that spent billions to crusade against the moral wrong of homosexuality have failed to spend as much money and energy crusading against a far greater and far more dangerous immorality.

Likewise, American citizens continue to consume the foreign oil that helps fund the Islamic revolutionary terrorists. American businesses have offered the America citizens no alternative to foreign oil in the past three decades. Half a decade after 9/11 America still lacks the moral values and political will to stop funding Islamic revolutionary terrorists. While sending a ten-dollar check to an Islamic terrorist group will result in a jail sentence, sending terrorist groups millions of dollars disguised as gasoline and oil-product purchases is perfectly legal. It is nonsense to assume America citizens are fighting a war on terrorism while they are funding the very enemy fighting to destroy them. It is immoral for the nation’s citizens to support the enemy their military is fighting.

President Bush’s war on terrorism is a noble cause, a just cause and a necessary moral response to bring an end to three decades of Islamic revolutionary terrorism, but he failed to properly present the case to the American people. He assumed Americans were informed citizens who understood Islamic revolutionary terrorism. His Administration also made errors in executing the war, which happens in every war. His Administration made the mistake of invading Iraq while not touching the world’s largest terrorist nation, thereby permitting Iran to arm, train and send fighters into Iraq and create a quagmire. Instead of looking at the military mistakes and discussing to correct them in order to win the war, as has been done historically in all major wars, elected officials exploited the quagmire and used it as propaganda for political gain while breaking the citizens will to continue the noble cause. They have sold citizens a false hope that ending the Iraq war will not further empower the Islamic revolutionary terrorists. Such morally bankrupt leaders are a disgrace to America, a danger to freedom, and appeasers of antichrist elements who have chanted “death to America” for three generations. With elected officials like these, who needs enemies? Abraham Lincoln said, “If destruction be our lot, it must spring up among us.” It has sprung up in the House and Senate.

No civilized citizen wishes for war. War is a cruel but sometimes necessary response to evil forces that wish to destroy a citizen’s political and religious freedom. So far these Islamic revolutionary terrorists do not have nuclear weapons. To wait to destroy them is to give them time to obtain nuclear weapons. Those who embrace a homicidal-suicidal ideology would not be stopped from using nuclear weapons in Allah’s name by the doctrine of mutually assured destruction. Therefore, America has a moral obligation to destroy this Cold War weapon which America empowered as a tool to prevent global thermal nuclear war, or this Cold War weapon is guaranteed to bring about the very global thermal nuclear war it was designed to prevent. As morally bankrupt political leaders propose returning to the quiet negotiation and appeasement that transformed a small group of former CIA sponsored Islamic revolutionary terrorists into a global power, every citizen has a moral obligation to question the nonsense espoused by their elected leaders.

At no time in recorded history have barbarians seeking world domination been defeated by talking to them. Unless times have so changed that the only immorality left in existence is homosexuality, then we, the America citizens, have a moral obligation and a moral duty to pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, in order to assure the survival and the success of liberty and to free all humankind from the horror of Islamic revolutionary terrorists. If America does not defeat these savage beasts before they obtain nuclear weapons, entire cities will be wiped off the map; the direct result of America’s bankrupt morality and political nonsense.
